Did you know?
One in two Australians will experience mental health problems at some stage in their lives, but we know that many recover and maintain their health and wellbeing. Seeking help early and having the support and understanding from family, friends and work colleagues are essential aspects to making a full recovery.
Odd Socks Day is a National Mental Health Campaign developed and run by Grow Australia since 2013. Odd Socks Day encourages Australians to wear odd socks to show that anyone can have an odd day.
The messaging promotes conversations and demonstrates the understanding that people struggling with their mental health are not alone.
Grow is delighted that Australian owned clothing business mitchdowd is supporting Odd Socks Day in 2019. They are kindly donating $2 for every pair of socks purchased from their website and in addition, they will donate $1 per pair of socks physically sold in Top 20 Myer stores during 21 Sept to 5th of October. Funds raised will support our community mental health programs across Australia.
