Mental illness and drug and alcohol issues affect many of our families. Come along and hear how one project has been working to improve the way services support Nyoongar families in the Bentley to Armadale area of Perth.
Elders and mental health and drug and alcohol service providers will share stories of how they have built trust and worked together to improve service delivery. The Elders have been the driving force, sharing their cultural wisdom with services, so they can work better with Aboriginal families.
A kangaroo stew and damper lunch will be provided.
